Mozart’s Requiem-Service of Remembrance

September of 2011 marked the tenth anniversary of the infamous terrorist attack since named 9/11. To remember the horrors of that day, choruses around the world sang Mozart’s Requiem to honor first responders and those who lost their lives on that fateful day. Lynn Sjolund conducted the Requiem at which singers from throughout the Rogue Valley performed, along with a chamber orchestra. The concert was attended by members of the fire department and police force. It was a beautiful and solemn event that moved many people.
