Bernstein’s Mass, March 12 and 13, 2011

The Chorale performed Bernstein’s Mass, originally commissioned by Jackie Kennedy for the opening of the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC in 1971. Andrew Brock performed the Tenor solo part. The concert featured other iconic works written by Bernstein from West Side Story, Candide, and Wonderful Town.

And Away We Go, May 7 and 8, 2011

The Chorale performed American spirituals and English Anthems, songs that were presented to audiences throughout England and Wales during the summer tour. Also performed was a piece commissioned by the Chorale from Composer Dr. David Childs called To Musick. Michal Palzewicz performed the cello obbligato for the commission during the concert.

England/Wales Tour

The Chorale toured England and Wales during the Summer of 2011. Performances took place at Canterbury Cathedral, Westminster Cathedral and at Various other venues throughout the countries.
