Concerts

The Rogue Valley Youth Choruses present two major performances each year at area high school theaters.  The three choruses also perform at the Rogue Valley Manor.

Outreach

An annual ‘Spring Sing’ event is hosted by the Rogue Valley Youth Choruses each May for elementary students.  Busses transport students to the Medford School District Education Center where the choruses perform a short program of choral music for them.  This wonderful experience provides a concert experience for young students and is a free field trip for approximately 3,000 students.

The Cantare Chorus often performs around the valley and occasionally goes on tour. Cantare Chorus performs with the adult Rogue Valley Chorale for special concerts at the Collier Center for the performing arts.

Each summer, the Youth Ensemble tours a destination in the Northwest, such as Seattle, Victoria, B.C., San Francisco, Portland or Los Angeles. In addition, the Youth Ensemble provides entertainment for various charitable, philanthropic, and social events throughout the Medford area and perfrms with the Rogue Valley Chorale.

Rehearsals

Children’s Chorus: Tuesdays, 4:30-6:00 at Ascension Lutheran Church

Cantare Chorus: Thursdays, 7:00- 8:30 at the South Medford High School Band Room

Youth Ensemble: Thursdays, 7:00-9:00 at the South Medford High School Choir Room

Tuition

Tuition for the year is $200, which covers expenses for music, concerts, rehearsal experience, staff stipends. Tuition may be paid in two seasonal installments of $100 each  Sibling discounts are available. Financial assistance is available for those with demonstrated need.
