The Rogue Valley commenced its sixth season with nearly 80 singers, many of whom started with the group in 1973.
Fall Concert, November 18 and 19, 1978
The opening number for the concert was Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Missa Brevis, K. 192. Soloists were Kathy Gordon, soprano, Jacqueline Dougherty, Alto, Nick Tennant, Tenor, and Carroll Graber, Bass.
Spring Concert, April 7 and 8, 1979
The Chorale presented Mozart’s Requiem with orchestra, as well as works by Franz Schubert, Claude Debussy and Robert Schumann. The concert was dedicated to board member Daniel Moore. Daniel and members of his family died in a car accident earlier in the year.
