Since 1973, the Rogue Valley Chorale has been presenting the best in chorale music to the residents of Southern Oregon. The group of 100 singers is comprised of the finest vocalists in the Rogue Valley. It offers seasonal concerts that celebrate a wide range of musical genre including classical, contemporary, Broadway, folk, spirituals and much more. Celebrate Our 40th Anniversary 2012/'13 Season

Dec 8 and 9, 2012 at the Craterian
Christmas with the Chorale, Let it Snow … a traditional Christmas program featuring a sing-along to some of your favorite carols.

February 24, 2013 – Sunday at the Craterian
Hallelujah … a program of sacred music through time, a tribute to how religion has shaped our culture and musical repertoire.

April 27 and 28, 2013 at the Craterian
Celebrating 40 Years, Forte at Forty … a celebration of the Chorale’s favorite works over the past 40 years including “To Music”, an original composition commissioned by Dr. David Childs that we premiered in 2011.

Performing Arts Access
Rogue Valley Chorale is pleased to be a Performing Arts Access participant. Anyone who receives food stamps (SNAP) and has an Oregon Trail Card is eligible to receive two $5 tickets to our concerts. OUR MISSION
The mission of Rogue Valley Chorale is to inspire our community through the performance of great choral music.

ARTISTIC DIRECTOR/CONDUCTOR
Lynn Sjolund, Artistic Director/Conductor of the Rogue Valley Chorale, is well known as a conductor and choral clinician. He has directed festival groups and adjudicated choruses throughout the country. His tenure with the Chorale began with its founding and has been continuous, with the exception of three years when he was Director of Choral Studies at Loyola University in New Orleans. His artistic vision, exceptional musical ability and professionalism are well-known and command great respect. Mr. Sjolund guides the Chorale with clear vision so that artistic integrity and excellence, audience appeal, youth mentorship and educational opportunities flourish. In directing the Chorale Mr. Sjolund's goal is to bring home music's illusive qualities where one is transfixed and transported to another realm of understanding. EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
The Rogue Valley Chorale is thrilled to welcome Jacque Schmidt as its first Executive Director. Jacque is a long time friend of the Chorale and a valued Soprano. She has served on the Board of Directors and has been instrumental in the development of our Youth Choruses. To learn more about Jacque Schmidt click here.

ACCOMPANIST
Andrea Brock serves as the accompanist and piano soloist for the Rogue Valley Chorale. Her skills as a pianist are highly sought after in Southern Oregon. She has served as an accompanist at statewide and regional choral competitions, for the Oregon Bach Festival and for numerous other music organizations.
