In this time of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Rogue Valley Chorale, like other arts organizations, is struggling to recoup revenue lost due to cancelled concerts. Suspending our Youth Choruses program has caused significant disruptions in the lives of our young singers, both educationally and socially. Our singers, rehearsal assistants, chorus managers, accompanists and conductors have all experienced loss of pay and work disruptions.

I am reaching out to you to ask you to participate in Western Walk for the Arts, a virtual 5K walk the week of May 23-31. (A virtual walk means that, rather than walking en mass, we walk on our own to maintain safe social distance). Western Walk for the Arts is organized by Orchard Valley Fine Arts Foundation for the sole purpose of helping arts organizations raise funds. You can help by walking virtually with me and many other members of the Rogue Valley Chorale Association. Ask friends and family to sponsor your walk by making a tax-deductible donation to Rogue Valley Chorale Association. Click here to donate and to learn more about Western Walk for the Arts.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Sincerely,
Laura Rich, Executive Director
Rogue Valley Chorale Assoc.
