The Rogue Valley Childrens' Chorus serves singers in grades 5 and 6. Auditioned singers come from approximately 25 schools, as well as home schools. Repertoire is selected to fit beginning singers' skills and varies widely from established classical works to art songs, folk songs, spirituals, jazz, and contemporary arrangements. Our singers have established a special relationship with the Rogue Valley Manor and perform in the Manor Auditorium each season.

Gerry Flock (flock@ccountry.net 245-0203) is an experienced educator in the Rogue Valley. After teaching music in local schools for 21 years, he is now serving as Principal at Orchard Hill Elementary School and Talent Middle School. Mr. Flock has served as Director of the Rogue Valley Discovery/Children’s Chorus for nine years, sings with the Rogue Valley Chorale, and serves as an elder in his church.  His wife, September, is a teacher and Past President of the RVYC. Their three teenage boys are also involved in music.
